It wasn’t until after I had been through the rollercoaster of prescription medications that I discovered that there are other better methods to treating (and actually overcoming) anxiety and depression.

I had suffered through anxiety, lack of confidence, OCD, and depression for about 10 years before seeking help. When finally visited my family doctor I was immediately put on an anti-depressant medication… there was absolutely no attempt to help me beyond prescribing me a little pill.
The medication did almost nothing to help me, and when I eventually decided to stop taking it I went through one of the absolute worst experiences of my life. Subsequent years of seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist were of minimal help (the limitations of these forms of therapy are discussed in The Mental Health Miracle).
Having been through hell and come out the other side I’m here to prevent you from falling into the same trap. I’m here to tell you that you absolutely do not need prescription medication to feel happy and healthy.
